Following a very successful 10th anniversary year, Ipswich Hospital Community Choir continues to develop and learn new pieces ready for performances (listed below). As usual, this is wide ranging from very new songs ( "What was I made for" from the Barbie film  and winner of an Oscar) to more choral music by Karl Jenkins and Eric Whittaker. The choir has recently appointed local West End Star, Kerry Ellis to the position of choir patron.

Ipswich Hospital Community Choir meets every Wednesday at 6.15pm in the Courtyard Restaurant at Ipswich Hospital. The aim of the choir is to provide a forum whereby hospital staff, volunteers and members of the community can come together to sing. Experience of singing in choirs or the ability to read music is NOT a requirement, just enthusiasm to come together with a group of friendly people and enjoy  time together. At the same time, the choir seeks to support the hospital by singing at events and raising funds for hospital charities and other associated organisations.

The choir's repertoire is wide ranging from classical to recent pop, mostly in 4-part harmony.  We would welcome new members to all 4 sections and do not worry if you do not know your voice range, our Musical Director will be able to work on that with you.
